ADCS begins first federally contracted project as a Prime to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources Services Administration.  ADCS is an extension of this agency in performing Architectural/Engineering Technical Assistance Reviews on Alterations/Renovations of healthcare centers in the U.S. Mainland and Territories.

In order to keep up with its expanding practice, ADCS secures a larger office space in Fairfax, VA.

ADCS Wins Design Commission for Photography Studio.
ADCS has been selected to be the Design Architect to design either a retrofit to an existing building or a ground-up building for the Hoon Photography Studio in the Arlington or nearby area.

Dave Chan selected as a Panelist.
Dave Chan was selected to be one of four panelists for the GWAAEA Event that was held on April 13. He spoke about his experience as a business owner of a successful and growing architectural practice. He provided the audience comprised mainly of local architects and engineers insight into resources, lessons learned, challenges, and specific experiences.

ADCS selected for the Peer Review of the Fair Oaks Mall Renovation.
ADCS has been retained as the Peer Reviewer out of a long list of Fairfax County Peer Reviewers to perform the Peer Review of this significant and all-encompassing exterior and interior renovation of the Fair Oaks Mall.  The exterior work will include a substantial "facelift" to the exterior entrances, including the addition of glass canopies.  The interior renovations are to the public circulation and interior courts.

ADCS provides design for the Ivy Community Charities Office Facility
Through the Neighborhood Design Center, ADCS is providing pro-bono schematic design services for the Ivy Youth and Family Center, a charitable organization that provides career resources for traditionally underprivileged minority individuals and businesses.  The design is of a small free-standing one-story structure that will house incubator work stations and associated functions and will be located in Suitland, Maryland.

ADCS wins a multiple-task order Agreement to perform Peer Reviews for the JBG Companies.

ADCS enters the Residential Market.
ADCS performs Residential Peer Reviews for the Relux Companies on several large single-family detached homes in infill lots located in the Vienna, McLean, and Falls Church neighborhoods.

Additionally, ADCS is providing design alterations and additions to several single-family homes in Fairfax County.
